Currently a self funding, previously nationally registered 2nd Section Band with musical competitions around England, although **2024** currently not in competition. In 2025 the band are trying to enter the competitive.  All members are amateur musicians from Colchester and the surrounding districts of London and The Home Counties.

Our rehearsals are at The Acorn Centre which is off Harwich Road in Colchester on a Tuesday between 7:45pm to 9:45pm. Please click the Rehearsal Room location here for a map.

We have competed in the National Finals of the British Brass Band Championships of Great Britain on a number of occasions, and have previously topped of league tables at the London and Home Counties first section and second sections. Our concerts are mainly local concerts but the band has performed at a variety of venues, including Colchester Castle Park, Halstead Park, Charter Hall and historically the London Royal Parks. We also feature at numerous fetes and fund raising events locally, and have also been on a musical outing to friends in Netherlands, France and Germany.  If you are new to the area or if you are interested in making music in a City brass band, please contact us here
